Personally, I like to treat myself with a nice new school kit before each new term. It can include colourful pens, new bookmarks, stylish notebooks or a new pen case. And much of this is easy to do yourself with the help of some wallpaper! If you have some old but empty plain notebooks at home, they'll be perfect for upcycling.

Using nothing but small pieces of wallpaper, you can make stylish bookmarks and pencil covers in a matching style. I've gotten carried away with some of Erica Jacobson's colourful wallpaper.

DIY - Back to School

Let your creative juices flow and smarten up the school supplies you need for back to school time. Perhaps you want to create something else in a matching pattern? A magazine collector or a binder is perfect for smartening up. And by wallpapering a small part of the desktop, you'll have easily fixed a piece of wallpaper that is guaranteed to stay in place.

If you use wallpaper from the same series or by the same designer, you'll achieve a more uniform appearance. Choose your favourite designs and make your own school kit!
