We all have our own preferences in our interiors. We may prefer Scandinavian, Minimalist, Retro, Traditional, Industrial or any combinations of this and that. From the color palettes of our wallpapers and furniture, to the actual interior designing techniques, we want our interior to showcase our personalities. One common factor we probably all want regardless of our style preference though, is elegance. We want our room to be elegant and presentable to our guests. And who knows elegance better than the deemed queen of it herself?

Victoria Hagan has been known worldwide for integrating the elements of architecture and interior design. Her design philosophy focuses on the refined use of materials, sophisticated color, and strong silhouettes. Whether the project is modern or traditional, Victoria Hagan always strive for a classic spirit that is understated and elegant.

Biography of Victoria Hagan

For over 20 years since Victoria Hagan has established her firm, she has designed an extensive number of versatile projects throughout the country. Her project ranges from the most elegant urban residences to casual weekend retreats, noted residential developments, and innovative corporate interiors.

Her works were described by The New York Times as “the most cerebral, the one bound to be influential”. Because of her projects, she was continuously featured in various publications such as Architectural digest, Elle Decor, W, Town and Country, Harper’s Bazaar, Traditional Home, In Style and Interior Design.

Hagan also launched her line of furniture and fabric designs in 2002, which were sold in various showrooms throughout the country. Elle Decor gave her the title Furniture Designer of the Year in 2006.

In 2004, Hagan was inducted into the Interior Design hall of Fame. She has also been given award by many top design honors of the country, which includes Architectural Digest’s Top 100.

Victoria Hagan graduated from parsons School of Design and still serves on the Board of Governors. A frequent guest speaker on design issues throughout the country, she continues to inspire more young individuals to be more passionate in their chosen field.

The book likewise features the wide range of inspirations of Victoria Hagan in doing her projects. Inspirations such as sunlight streaming through a paned window, the ocean, Central park, a paintingor any historical reference.

With Victoria Hagan’s goal of “creating environments that allow her clients to feel elevated in the presence of beauty”, the interiors she creates are mainly focused on architecture and landscape.
